We’ve only just begun using our baby monitor and I’m not used to it yet, so every time the wee critter upstairs makes a squeak I jump out of my skin because it comes through the receiver like the snarl of some fierce, fearsome creature behind me.

Wish I could say that changes. We have on that has a sensor pad that monitors Lex’s breathing. Turns out he’s like his Momma and sleeps so still that the sensor pad even on the most sensitive setting doesn’t pick him up sometimes. The alarm makes my heart stop went ever it goes off.
