On the Red Line yesterday I learned that spare change guy 1) was just released from jail after serving twenty-nine days; 2) is a fan of George Clooney and spy novels; and 3) is surprised and concerned that so many strangers (ie, MBTA passengers) know who he is and can call him by name.
